How to measure your BJJ GI
So you are planning to get a new gi, but dont know which size to buy? No worries, we have a chart and here’s how you measure to find your size.

Start measuring by placing your existing suit flat on floor, avoid wrinkles and try to mimic the way they are pictured in the pictures below.
BJJ Jacket length is generally measured from just beside your collar all the way to the bottom of the jacket.
So, do not include the collar in the measurement.
Jacket sleeve length
BJJ Jacket sleeve length is measured from the end of the sleeve all the way to the start of the collar. Do not include the collar in measurement.
BJJ pants length is easiest measured by placing them on the floor, checking that there are no wrinkles and measuring the longest distance from top to bottom. Preferably right next to the outside seam.
BJJ pants with is easiest measured by placing them on the floor, checking that there are no wrinkles and measuring the longest distance from side to side.
